Mrs. Nancy Jane Smith, age 76, of Mayfield passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
She was a member of Christian Fellowship in Briensburg, KY and a retired employee of Woodmen Life Insurance Company.
She is survived by one son, Michael (Kayla) Smith of Farmington, KY; one daughter, Melissa (Jerry) Darnall of Mayfield, KY; one brother, Ronnie (Mary) Price of Mayfield, KY; two sisters, Dianna Smith and Jennifer Colley both of Mayfield, KY; and four grandchildren, Tanner Darnall of Kirksey, KY, Colton Smith of Murray, KY, Cooper Smith of Farmington, KY and Riley Gantt of Farmington, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Coondog” Smith and her parents, Raymond and LuMay Speed Price.
Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Jane Smith will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Keith Allred will officiate. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2023 at the funeral home.
