Calvert City, KY (November 20, 2023) – On November 18, 2023 an officer performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for suspicion of impaired driving. Upon contact with the operator the officer could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverages coming from the vehicle. After further investigation, Armando Castaneda Perez, 18, of 4646 Nolensville Pike, #B7, Nashville, TN was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol < 21 years of age .02-.07. He was also charged with no operators-moped license, failure to non-owner operator to maintain required insurance 1st offense, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, and person 18-20 possess/purchase/attempt to purchase/have another purchase alcohol.
