Ricky Lynn Burton, 64, of Paducah, went home to be with the Lord at 10:05 am Friday, November 17, 2023 at Baptist Health in Paducah. He was born April 1, 1959 at Riverside Hospital in Paducah and was of the Catholic faith.
Ricky is survived by his son, Ricky W. (Paige) Burton of Smithland; his daughter, Veronica Harper of Kevil; his son, Vincent Harper of Paducah; his mother, Margie Johnson Burton of Paducah; two grandsons of Kevil; three brothers, Gary (Leesa) Burton of Paducah, Michael (Cheryl) Burton of Crystal River, FL, and Jim Burton; one sister, Debra (John) Burton Hall of Paducah; cousins, Rita Coley, Betty Jo Downs, and Linda Sue Renfrow; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who he loved dearly.
Ricky is preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Burton.
Ricky was the groundskeeper for Paxton Park for 41 years. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking. He loved the outdoors.
A funeral service for Ricky will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Lindsey Funeral Home with burial to follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family from 11:00 am to service hour at the funeral home.
