Reba Childress, of Almo, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown in Nashville.
Reba was born on November 21, 1952 in Cadiz, KY to the late William and Ethelene Scott Ahart. She drove a school bus for Calloway County school system for almost 30 years. Reba adored her family and especially her grandchildren. She loved to read, garden, craft and spend time with friends at Wrangler’s. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed. \
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Childress and brothers, William Ahart, Homer Ahart and Frankie Ahart. Also preceding her is a sister, Jewel Ahart
Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include a son, William “Brent” Ahart (Lisa) of Murray; a daughter, Jamie Tuhy of Almo; two sisters, Patsy Stallons of Dexter, Gale Lowe (Bob) of Lynn Grove and four beloved grandchildren, Coltin, Kade, Shaun and Payton.
A visitation to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 11 am – 12 pm at Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, downtown Murray.
