Mrs. Janice Fay May, age 76, of Mayfield passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Mrs. May is survived by her husband of 60 years, Roy May; two sons, James “Wendell” (Sheila) May of Fancy Farm, KY and Richard May of Dublin, KY; one daughter, Renee Adams of Paducah, KY; one brother, Larry Marshall of Mayfield, KY; eight grandchildren, Brittany Thorn, Chandler Adams, Makenzie Delaney, Anthony May, Amber May, Datha Chambers, Rebecca May and Kayla Mason; and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Regina Hardison; one brother, Steve Marshall; and her parents, James and Mable Harms Marshall.
Funeral services for Mrs. Janice Fay May will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Keith Allred will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Anthony May, Chandler Adams, Kenny Thorn, Jason West, Colby Chambers and Steve May.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
