Jimmie Sue Sills, age 93, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 11:00 P.M. Monday, November 6, 2023 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Sue was born in Kevil, Kentucky on Tuesday, December 31, 1929 to James and Myrtle Apperson. She enjoyed going to auctions and collecting various items, loved to fish, was a good cook, and loved to make people laugh. She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church.
Mrs. Sills is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Hines (Ronnie, Jr.); her sons, Douglas, Jeff and Shelby (Kim) Sills; her grandsons, Sean, Jason, Eric, Corey, Jesse, Nicholas and Caleb Sills, and Titus Hines; her 14 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Sills was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Albert Eugene Sills; her parents, James Hutoka Apperson and Myrtle Shelby Apperson; her sisters, Mary Bondrant, Angie Apperson, Agnes Ward, Ruth Purvis and Jane Moore; her brother, James Apperson.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 10, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Bob Whitter officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. Friday, November 10, 2023 at the funeral home.
