Methamphetamine Arrest Graves County

On October 31, 2023 at approximately 10:15 PM, the Graves County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an address on Lawn Drive for an unwanted person complaint. Contact was made with the homeowner who had not been at this residence for approximately 5 months. The homeowner discovered that the locks had been changed on his home and someone else was living in the residence.
While in the home with the homeowner, deputies located a drug pipe that field tested positive for methamphetamine. A search was conducted and more methamphetamine was located throughout the residence.
While searching the residence, deputies were made aware that Rebecca Eggleston, 37 of Mayfield, was hiding under a bed located in the back room. Eggleston had an outstanding Indictment Warrant out of Graves County for Possession of Methamphetamine. Eggleston claimed ownership of the drugs and paraphernalia that were located in the home.
She was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 3rd Offense (Methamphetamine), Drug Paraphernalia- Buy/Possess and Failure to Notify Address Change to
Department of Transportation. She was also charged with the Indictment Warrant out of Graves County Circuit Court.
Deputy Peyton Jackson led this investigation and was assisted by Deputy Austin Caldwell, the Mayfield Police Department and the Kentucky State Police.
