Ronald Stephen Parrett, 74, of Hardin, KY, died at home on 10/26/2023.
Ron was born in Cincinnati, OH in 1949 to Mildred (Toms) Harness and James Harness. Ron grew up in Springdale, OH and attended Princeton High School before joining the United States Navy. After Ron completed his service in the US Navy, he had a successful career in the automotive industry up until the age of retirement. After retirement, Ron renewed his love for classic cars, relished being a grandfather, and became heavily involved in his local church. He was a beloved member of Olive Community Church up until his passing.
Ron was preceded in death by (Father) James Harness, (Brother) Nelson Tucker, and (Mother) Mildred Harness. Ron is survived by (Wife) Carolyn Dunn, (Brother) Mike Tucker, (Daughter) Missy Parrett, (Son) Jon Parrett and spouse Carrie, (Daughter) Jennifer Elliott and spouse Nathan, (Son) Eric Parrett, (Son) Stephen Dunn and spouse Alex, (Daughter) Kamra Davenport and spouse Tucker. Ron is also survived by his grandchildren (Granddaughter) Sadie, (Grandson) Will, (Grandson) Jackson, (Grandson) Ethan, (Grandson) Isaac, (Granddaughter) Brooke, (Grandson) Lucas, (Granddaughter) Addison, (Grandson) Seth, (Grandson) Axel, as well as his great grandchildren.
Services for Ron will be held at Olive Community Church on 11/1/2023 at 4:00 PM. All are welcome to come and celebrate the life of a man who loved God, family, friends, and being able to help those in need.
