Jackie L. Denfip, age 77, of Benton, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Marshall County Hospital.
Jackie was born in Paducah on September 17, 1946 to Marion and Ida Grace Speer Denfip. He attended Hardin Baptist Church. Jackie served in the United Stated Marine Corps until his honorable discharge. Jackie worked as the service manager at Country Chevrolet. Jackie enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, racing and working on cars, but his favorite past time was watching his granddaughters play softball.
He is survived by his wife: Norma J. Henson Denfip of Benton, KY; Two sons: Ricky and wife Jenna Denfip and Randy Denfip both of Benton, Ky.; Two granddaughters: Ashley Denfip and Ellin Denfip and Two Great Grandchildren: Owen Follis and Cale Follis.
He is preceded in death by his parents: a sister: Earline Dexter and Six Brothers: Bert, John, Don, Walter, Terry and Kenny Denfip.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 @ 2:00pm in the chapel of Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY. Rev. Ricky Cunningham will officiate. Burial will follow the services in Hardin Baptist Church Cemetery, Hardin, KY. Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm on Tuesday at Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY.
