Annette Criswell, 62 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.
Annette was born in Jackson, Tennessee on August 21, 1961 to the late James Grissom and Minnie June Copeland Grissom. She enjoyed dancing and watching Nascar. Annette was a talker who never met a stranger. She was of the southern Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Sammy Criswell; her daughter, Ashley Alonso of Benton; brother, Tony Grissom (Mary) of Salmer, TN; sister, Pam Hand (Paul) of Memphis, TN; mother-in-law, Ann Criswell of Paducah; sister-in- law’s, Kathy Thurston (Randy) of Melber and Toni Criswell-Midyett (Jason) of Paducah; three grandchildren, Morgan Smith of Lexington, TN, Logan Doyle and Ellee Alonso, both of Benton; and one great-grandchild, Greyson Osteen of Lexington, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dale Grissom and John “Boo” Grissom; and her father-in-law, Sam Criswell.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home.
