Paul Charles Burns, age 64, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away September 26, 2023.
Paul was born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 22, 1959 to Paul Charles Danville and Joyce Slade Burns. He was of the Catholic faith. Paul was a true Renaissance man. He served eight years in the U.S. Army with an honorable discharge as a Sergeant. He attended Jefferson Davis Community College, had a successful gutter business in Wilmington, North Carolina, and went on to become a Turban Engineer and later a Generator Specialist, with which he traveled the world. When he was not working he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Burns is survived by his wife, Linda Roberts of Paducah, Kentucky; his parents; a daughter, Lisa Chambers; his two sons, Nicholas Burns of New Jersey and Christopher Burns of North Carolina; four sisters, Sara Danville of Ora Valley Arizona, Kathy Burns of Biloxi, Mississippi, Dana Peterson of Vancleve, Mississippi, and Dawn Danville of Biloxi; two brothers Rolf Danville of Yuba City, California and Robert Burns of Montgomery, Alabama; nine grandchildren, Nicholas, Allena, Liam, Calhoun, Gideon, and Khouri Burns, Jordan and Blake Chambers; many nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Burns.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
