Edward “Ed” Lawrence, 70 of Paducah, passed away Saturday September 30, 2023 at Ray and Kay Hospice Care Center of Paducah.
Ed was a self-employed insurance agent and army veteran and avid camping and golfer. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and dogs Rocky and Cooper in their motor home.
He is survived by his wife of 33 wonderful years, Brenda. Mother, Carolyn Lawrence. Two sons; Michael Lawrence and Brian (Claire) Elder. Three sisters; Cathy (Roger) Story, Connie (Tim) Pittman and Alison Perez. Two grandchildren; Tyler and Cole. Family dogs Rocky and Cooper. And several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; C.J. Lawrence, one brother, Bruce Lawrence. A sister, Cheryl Duncan and grandmother, Edna Foley.
Friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday October 4, 2023 at Lindsey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday October 5, 2023 at Lindsey Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeremy Short officiating. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
