Frank Herbert Sollman, age 84, of Gilbertsville, KY, died Friday, September 22, 2023, at his residence in Gilbertsville, KY. Mr. Sollman was a retired chemical engineer from B F Goodrich, Alumni of Purdue University, and was a member of Calvert City United Methodist Church.
He was the son of the late George William Sollman and the late Ruby Alene (Elliott) Sollman. He was also preceded in death by his wife: Melinda (Whittington) Sollman; and his brother: Francis Sollman.
He is survived by two daughters: Holly Vaughn and husband Eric of Brentwood, TN, Fran Adkins and husband Russell of Brentwood, TN; and four grandchildren: Finley Rose Adkins, Miller Adkins, Bennett Vaughn, and Kinsey Vaughn.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Friday, September 29, 2023. Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 29, 2023, with Dr. John Perdue officiating. Interment will follow at Kuttawa Cemetery, Kuttawa, KY.
