Ronald “Jack” Eldridge, 77, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 2:14 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Baptist Health Paducah. He was born in Ladoga, Indiana on June 13, 1946 to the late Walter Eldridge and Doris Higgins Eldridge. Jack was a retired Auctioneer and was the owner and operator of Hoosier Horse Market that produced the Strawtown Horse Sale for many years. He was a member of the Christian Church and the Masonic Lodge in Roachdale, Indiana where he was a 32nd Degree Mason. Jack was an avid Horseman and loved his dog, Dollar. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Jack is survived by his wife, Rose Truax Eldridge; two sons, Monty Eldridge and wife Olga Berezhnaya of Linden, Indiana and Shawn Eldridge and wife, Mirage of Miller Grove, Texas; three sisters, Martha Eldridge, Becky Pearman and Denise Tarrant; six brothers, John Eldridge, Robert Eldridge, Dan Harkrider, Daryl Harkrider, Mark Eldridge and David Eldridge; three grandchildren, Wyatt Eldridge, Ben Eldridge and Sofiya Berezhnaya; one great granddaughter, Eva Berezhnaya and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Kay Carothers and Debra Harkrider; two brothers, Chuck Eldridge and Steve Eldridge and his parents.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date in Indiana near Crawfordsville.
