On 9/11/2023, deputies and detectives were dispatched to a residence on Stallons Road in Marshall Co. for a structure fire. When deputies arrived on scene, along with the fire department, it was determined that a Nicole Thompson age 47 of Hardin KY, had intentionally set a fire next to the residence which caught the residence on fire. The fire was set in close proximity to the area of the home where the male resident slept inside. Nicole had locked the gate at the end of the driveway which delayed the fire departments response to put out the fire. Nicole was currently out on bond for charges of Assault 2nd which stems from an incident where she had been charged for stabbing the victim on a different occasion. Nicole was arrested and charged with Arson 1st degree, fleeing and evading police 2nd degree, resisting arrest and violation of bond conditions.
On 09/11/2023, Floyd Thompson age 68 of Hardin KY was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On 9/11/2023, deputies were dispatched to Global Wine and Spirits in Marshall County for an employee that was allegedly under the influence. Deputy arrived at the business and located the employee which was identified as Natalie Garrison age 58 of Benton. It was determined that Natalie was manifestly under the influence and was arrested for alcohol intoxication in a public place.
On 09/11/2023, deputies received a complaint of marijuana being grown at a residence. Deputies executed a search warrant at a property located off Hwy 68 West in Marshall County. The resident, Frankie Moore age 67 of Calvert City KY, was found to be growing marijuana in his back yard. Mr. Moore was cited for possession of marijuana.
