Katie Roberts shot a 1-over par 71 to win the individual title at last Saturday’s Franklin Simpson Wildcat Shootout at Franklin Country Club and also lead the Lady Marshals to a first place finish with a team score of 316.
Skylar Waller shot 78 to finish in fourth place and CeCelia Ray one stroke behind with a 79 for eighth place. Brooklyn Cunningham shot 88 and Kelli Roberts 89.
DJ Morris led the boys’ team with a 4-over 74 to finish 12th overall. The Marshals finished fifth with a score of 308 in the field of 20 teams. Bowling Green won the tournament with a score of 296.
Ryan Stokes also shot 74 and finished one back of Morris in 13th. Paxton Carter and Nolan each shot 80 and Andy Jones shot 84.
Both teams are competing in the Bowling Green Invitational on Saturday.
