Bettye Vaughn Davis, age 70, of New Concord, KY formerly of Mayfield, KY passed away Friday September 1, 2023 at the Baptist Health Paducah.
She was a member of the New Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Bettye also retired as a caregiver and formerly worked at the Graves County Senior Citizens Center.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ronnie Davis, Sr.; two sons, Robert Davis of Mayfield, KY and Ronnie (Andrea) Davis, Jr. of Benton, KY; one daughter, Sara Hixon of the Golo Community; two brothers, Kenneth (Sharon) Vaughn of Mayfield, KY and Mark Vaughn of Fancy Farm, KY; one sister, Linda Johnson of Mayfield, KY; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
Bettye was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Vaughn and her parents J.L. “Frog” and Helen Buck Vaughn.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 Wednesday September 6, 2023 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Joel Frizzell will officiate. Interment will follow in the Wingo Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Wednesday September 6, 2023 at the funeral Home.
