Thomas “Tommy” McManus, 72, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 8:36 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2023 at Baptist Health Paducah. He was born in Paducah on September 3, 1950 to the late Thomas Eugene McManus, Sr. and Leila P. Green McManus. Tommy was a retired Locomotive Engineer for the Canadian National Railway. He was a member of Heartland Church. Tommy received his Bachelor’s Degree from Murray State University. He enjoyed walking, working out at the gym and spending time at home watching Fox News. Tommy loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He served in the National Guard for six years.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Belinda Leigh McManus; daughter, Lindsey Erin Cavitt and husband, David of Paducah, Kentucky; son, Cory McManus of Clarksville, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Alli Madison Jones, Lincoln Austin Jones and Mady Shayne Cavitt; brother, Billy Frank McManus of Sharpe, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Bobby Lindsey officiating.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
