MURRAY, KY – The Love family recently donated $15,000 to the Foundation at Murray-Calloway County Hospital (MCCH) in support of the new Regional Cancer Center. Their donation was a naming opportunity for a custom metal art divider in the Lobby.

Their donation was made in loving memory of wife and mother, Nanette Love, who passed away from pancreatic cancer five years ago.

I’m a testicular cancer survivor and I lost my wife to cancer. Our family felt this donation was a great way to honor her memory and we understand the importance of being able to provide good cancer treatment for patients near home,” Mike Love commented.

The new cancer center will bring innovations and a new linear accelerator to fight 98% of cancers close to home. Located within the North Tower of MCCH off 8th Street, the new center provides patients with convenient access to excellent cancer care. Thousands of patients will be cared for annually by a multidisciplinary team of specialists and sub-specialists to meet the challenges presented by more than 20 different types of cancer.
