Calvert City, KY (August 21, 2023) – During routine patrols in the early morning hours of August 15, 2023 a vehicle was observed blacked out at the BP station on Kennedy Avenue. When the officer pulled into the parking lot the vehicle turned their lights on and proceeded to leave. The officer then ran the plate on the vehicle and got an AVIS hit on a possible warrant. The officer performed a traffic stop on the vehicle. Tyler A. Sirls, 24, of 407 S. 8th Street, Murray was arrested on a Calloway County Warrant for assault 4th degree (domestic violence) no visible injury. He was also charged with possession of marijuana and 2 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. A passenger in the vehicle, Jenifer Danielle Clark, 20, of 435 East 4th Avenue, Calvert City was also charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and person 18-20 years old possess/purchase/attempt to purchase/have another purchase alcohol.
On August 15, 2023, Krystal Danielle Mitchuson, 40, of 118 Cinder Lane, Kuttawa was served a Marshall County Criminal Summons for TBUT or Shoplifting. The criminal summons was issued after an investigation on August 04, 2023 in which it was determined that Krystal Mitchuson was seen on surveillance video at Food Giant removing half price stickers from discounted meat and using glue that she removed from the store shelf to reapply the stickers to full priced items, in which she later purchased and used her store rewards card during the transaction.
On August 16, 2023, officers were dispatched to an unknown disturbance at the Days Inn, room #130. Upon further investigation the disturbance call was unfounded, but drugs were found during the investigation. Kayla Alexis Hessler, 21, of 2894 Shady Vista Drive, Memphis, TN was arrested for possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (cocaine). She was also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Shane Allen Hoffman, 40, of 718 Rolling Meadows Road, Grand Rivers was arrested for possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (cocaine). He was also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On August 19, 2023, officers responded to Highway 68W and Pioneer Lane for a possible domestic disturbance. A female was seen walking in the roadway with a bloody towel on her face. After further investigation it was determined that her boyfriend had assaulted her with his elbow. Steven George Lichtenberg, 40, of 190 Berwick Lane, Benton was arrested for assault 4th degree dating violence (minor injury).
