Wanda “Suzi” Neal, 80, of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center..
Suzi was born on January 27, 1943 in Fairdealing, Kentucky to the late Gilbert and Virginia Baker. She spent 20 years working in accounting and handling reservations at the Executive Inn in Paducah. She loved all types of cats but her pet cat “Harry” held a special place in her heart. Suzi was a member of Central Church of Christ in Benton.
She is survived by one son, Jason Brett Neal (Tracy) of Sharpe; one brother, Roger Baker (Vicki) of Fairdealing; five grandchildren, Cameron Neal, Brandon Neal, Maddie Neal, Krista Burgess (Steven), and Kim Smith (Brent); six great-grandchildren, Destiny Burgess, Alyssa Burgess, Micha Burgess, Ryleigh Smith, Zoey Smith, and Julianna Burgess; and her longtime friend and companion, Terry M Smith.
She was preceded in death by one son, Derrick Neal; and her parents, Gilbert Baker and Virginia Jones Baker.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, Kentucky 42025.
