Marcia Turrell, 71, of Calvert City, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Lakeway Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Marcia was born on September 1, 1951 in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late William “Bill” Turrell and Anna Lancaster Turrell. She was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. Marcia was a member of Calvert City United Methodist Church. She will be remembered for her selfless personality and being one of the sweetest people you would ever meet. She had a great memory, she was well liked and sociable and loved all dogs.
She is survived by one brother, Charles “Chuck” Turrell of Metropolis, Illinois; two nieces, RaeAnne Carroll (Shane) of Benton, Kentucky and Rainie Lee of Murray, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Olivia Maddox Powell, and her parents.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Brooks Chapel Cemetery in Dexter, Kentucky. Bro. Todd Hawkins officiating.
