PADUCAH, Ky. (July 29, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) Marshall County Highway Maintenance Crew has been responding numerous trees down and numerous reports of flooding roadways.
We have also had reports of trees down at numerous locations in McCracken County.
At this time water over highways and trees down primarily in the Benton area. Crews have cleared several trees and are currently working to clear a tree along KY 95 in the northern part of the county.
Motorists are urged to use extreme caution. Due to the number of trees that needed to be cleared, there are likely several places where water is over highways that are not marked by signage.
