Lisa Kay Mellies, 63 of Benton, Kentucky died on Friday, July 21, 2023, at her residence in Benton, Kentucky.
Born Wednesday, October 7, 1959 in Xenia, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Maurice Fite and the late Brenda Blackburn Fite.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Rodney Mellies, sons, Lucas Brummitte and wife Kellie of Benton, KY and Kyle Mellies and wife Jordyn of Wellsville, KS, daughter, Elizabeth Brummitte of Benton, KY, brother, Jay Fite of Benton, KY, and grandchildren Hayden Brummitte, Isabelle Young and Emma Mellies.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Minda Probus.
A Memorial service will be at 7:30 PM on Tuesday at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with the Rev. Joe Daryl Thorn officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations be made to the American Cancer Society 3140 Parisa Drive Paducah, KY 42003.
