Jerry Lee Puckett, 50, of Columbus, Kentucky, passed away at 11:05 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2023 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Kentucky.
He was born in Union City, Tennessee on August 7, 1972 to the late Jerry Wayne and Brenda Lee Payne Puckett.
Jerry was a faithful member of Milburn United Methodist Church and organizer of the food pantry there. Jerry loved telling others about God and sharing words of hope and recovery. He enjoyed bass fishing, and his granddaughter, Kristina, was the light of his life.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Brandi Gibson Puckett; daughter, Natasha Kennedy (Ky) of Vancleave, Mississippi; two sons, Buck Brizendine of Benton, Kentucky and Luke Vinson of Columbus, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Kristina Puckett and Hunter Brizendine.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2023 at Milburn United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Paschall and Rev. Johnathan Althoff officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 14, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the service time of 2:00 p.m. at Milburn United Methodist Church.
