James “Jamie” William Spencer, 61 of Calvert City, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at his residence.
James was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 2, 1962 to the late Carl Spencer and Mollie Murray Spencer. He was a truck driver and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and riding 4-wheelers.
He is survived by his daughter, Morgan Galbreath (Trent) of Pekin, IN; son, Aaron Spencer (Jennifer) of Milltown, IN; two brothers, Daryl Spencer (Patty) of Grand Rivers, KY and Dale Spencer (Denise) of Calvert City; two sisters, Karen Nelson (Ricky) of Calvert City, KY and Cindy Walton of Benton, KY; seven grandchildren, Nathan Shuley, Evan Shuley, Mason Shuley, Emery Galbreath, Ean Galbreath, Toby Spencer and Jackson Spencer.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Shuley; two brothers, Edward Earl Spencer and Robert Lee Spencer; and his parents.
A memorial service for Jamie will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Pathway Baptist Church in Calvert City, KY.
