Joseph “Joey” David Englert, 60, of Paducah, passed away July 2, 2023 at his residence.
Joey was born on July 28, 1962 in Paducah. He was of the Catholic faith. Joey was a mechanic for Eads Landscaping, Durbin’s Standard Station and a Machinist for NRE Paducah. Joey loved to be in the outdoors either fishing or hunting. He was known for his love of NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt, Sr.
Joey is survived by his mother Bernadette Englert; three sisters, Julie Shelbourne of Paducah, Janie Felker of Paducah, and Robin Nelson of Paducah; two brothers, Danny Englert of Paducah, and Donnie Englert of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Englert.
A memorial service will be held at 4:30pm on Thursday July 6, 2023 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Reverend Bruce Fogle officiating.
Visitation will be held following services until 7:00pm on Thursday July 6, 2023 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
