Mr. James D. Menser, Jr., age 82, of Wingo passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at his residence.
He was a member of Chief Cornerstone Baptist Church, a former employee of the KY Department of Transportation and a retired farmer.
Mr. Menser is survived by three sons, James Allen (Kim) Menser of Wingo, KY, Michael Wayne Menser of Mayfield, KY and Roy Allen (Billie) Menser of Mayfield, KY; two daughters, Suzanne (Joseph) Williams of Mayfield, KY and Cheyenne Arthur of Wingo, KY; one brother, Charles Menser of Mayfield, KY; two sisters, Mary Ann Gordon of Ballard County, KY and Betty Massey of LaCenter, KY; fifteen grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Lee Menser; two brothers, Robert Wayne Menser and John Earl Menser; two sisters, Jean Harr and Mag West; and his parents, James D. Menser, Sr. and Roberta Holden Menser.
Funeral services for Mr. James D. Menser, Jr. will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Keith Allred and Rev. Josh Oliver will officiate. Interment will follow at Wesley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Cole, Mikey Menser, Josh Carnahan, Ronnie Joe Waggoner, David Freels, Jacob Bayles and Joseph Williams.
Visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
