Work zone in place 6 a.m., to 4 p.m., Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday
PADUCAH, Ky. (July 3, 2023) – A contractor plans to resume daytime westbound work zone lane restrictions along U.S. 60/Park Avenue in Paducah starting Thursday, July 6, 2023.
Motorists should be prepared to encounter westbound lane restrictions along U.S. 60 in the 3300 Block of Park Avenue near McCracken County mile point 12.3 on Thursday & Friday, July 6 & 7, and on Monday and Tuesday, July 10 & 11. This work zone is about a mile west of Noble Park and immediately west of the Metcalf Lane intersection.
The contractor is constructing entrances for a new convenience store.
Westbound motorists should be alert for one lane traffic from approximately 6 a.m., to 4 p.m., CDT. Some minor delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
