Evelyn Marie Crews, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at her residence in Paducah, Kentucky.
Evelyn was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, on March 7, 1927, to Virgil Thomas and Irene Randal Smith. She was a homemaker and minister’s wife. Evelyn loved to sing, crochet, ride her motorcycle and loved spending time with her grandkids. She was of the Baptist faith.
Evelyn is survived by one daughter, Paula Jones of Paducah; two sons, Mike Crews (Sharon) of Ave Maria, Florida and Tom Crews (Janet) of Sun City Center, Florida; three grandchildren, Joshua Medlin (Kristina), Prestaen Medlin (Carissa) and Shelly Crews; three step-grandchildren, Victoria Raxter (James), Danielle Jones (Jacob) and Caitlin Greathouse (Michael); and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Reverend Paul E. Crews; two brothers, Kenny Smith and Robert Smith and her parents.
Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
The family will be holding a memorial service Saturday, July 8th, 11:00 am at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Wickliffe, KY.
