Sandra Thompson Lampkin, 76, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 11:43 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Ledbetter, Kentucky on December 13, 1946. Sandra worked for Sears, Paducah Bank, Citizens Bank and retired from Harry Bufford Auto Sales as a Bookkeeper. She was a member of the Lone Oak First Baptist Church. Sandra loved her family and spending time with them especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynda Holshouser and husband, Troy of Symsonia, Kentucky; two sisters, Betty Rogers and husband, Wayne and Donna Pickett all of Ledbetter, Kentucky; three brothers, Michael Scheer and wife, Jennifer of Hickory, Kentucky, Mark Scheer and wife, Tina of Grand Rivers, Kentucky and Larry “Ranny” Thompson of Boaz, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Hunter Holshouser and wife, Kelsey and Parker (Angie Burgess) Holshouser; several nieces and nephews.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Lampkin; daughter, Krista Joiner; mother, Dorothea E. Faughn Scheer; father, Guy Thompson; step-father, Charles Scheer.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Michael Scheer officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
