On June 17th, 2023, at approximately 08:43pm, deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Homewood Ave. The vehicle was a 2009 Saturn passenger car.
During the investigation, it was discovered that one of the passengers, 58-year-old George J. Belcher of Mayfield, Ky, was in possession of a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine, Marijuana and other items related to Drug Paraphernalia. George J. Belcher also had several active warrants for his arrest.
George J. Belcher was arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail where he was lodged.
Arrested: George J. Belcher Charges: -Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd Offense (Methamphetamine) -Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess -Possession of Marijuana -Two Graves County District Court Warrants -One Calloway County Circuit Court Warrant
