James F. “Jack” Lyles, 84 of Benton, Kentucky died on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Oakview Nursing & Rehab Center in Calvert City, Kentucky.
Born Monday, August 22, 1938 in Benton, Kentucky, he was the son of the late John Lyles and the late Ada Burd Lyles. He was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church and retired construction worker for Gerald Chambers and Sons Construction.
Surviving are sons, Greg Lyles of Benton, KY and Steve Dale Washburn of Benton, KY; grandchildren; Heather York, Whitney Durst, Kyle Washburn and Jessica Suggs and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Martha Chambers Lyles, brothers, Leroy Lyles, John Lyles and Ronald Lyles, and sister, Cloteen Harrington.
