
Marshall County FFA students attended the Kentucky FFA State Convention last week in Lexington. The Marshall County chapter earned two state titles, three second place and a third place finish. Presleigh Jennings was elected Purchase Region State Vice President and the chapter earned the Gold Emblem. The State Champions will advance to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis November 1-4.

• Ty Elrod – State Champion in Agricultural Sales Entrepreneurship Proficiency
• Brent Holley – State Champion in Landscape Management Proficiency
• Ethan Odom – Second Place in Agriculture Mechanics Design and Fabrication Proficiency
• Ty Wood – Third Place in Sheep Production Proficiency
• Ethan Odom – Second Place in Employment Skills LDE
• Abby Treas and Bailey Hodge – Second Place Agriscience Fair Project: Animal Systems Division 4
• Brooke Hurley – Kentucky State Degree recipient
