Marshall County High School’s Trap Team competed in the Trap Shooting State Tournament last weekend at the Central Kentucky Gun Club in Berea. The Marshall County competitors in Trap won the state title and the Skeet team placed second.
Top individual Skeet results came from Zach Oden who took second in Varsity Male and tied for first in Varsity Overall. Riley Bradley placed first in the JV Male division and 1st in JV Overall. Nathan Stahl finished third in JV Male and third in JV Overall.
On Saturday in the Trap competition, the Marshall County team took first with a score of 488 just ahead of McCracken County in second with 487. Rowen County placed third with 486 in the field of 19 team.
Top individual Trap results came from Riley Bradley with a second place in Varsity Male and tied for second in Varsity Overall. Zach Oden placed first in JV Male and first in JV Overall results. Nathan Stahl finished third in JV Male and fourth in JV Overall. Hayden Brummitte won first in JV Female and second in JV Overall. Jasmine Emmons placed second in JV Female and tied for fifth in JV Overall.
