Jimmy Lynn Thweatt, age 71, of Benton, KY, died Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. He was the owner of Thweatt Generator Service and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.
He was the son of the late Gerald Thweatt and the late Betty (Henderson). He was also preceded in death by his wife: Linda Carol Thweatt.
He survived by three sons: Gary Thweatt of Sturgis, KY, Jake Thweatt of Benton, KY, and Jon Thweatt of Benton, KY; two sisters: Susie Thweatt of Paducah, KY and Patty Denton of Manitou, KY; one brother: Randy Thweatt of Benton, KY; four grandchildren: Keela Thweatt, Dillion Thweatt, Will Thweatt, and Alli Cristiani; and one great grandchild: Sterling Andrew Cristiani.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Interment will be at Edwards Cemetery, Benton, KY.
