She was a member of Trace Creek Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Mrs. Rickman is survived by one son, Richard (Stacey) Rickman of Mayfield, KY; four daughters, Florida Reed of Mayfield, KY, Brenda Dowdy of Benton, KY, Faye Odom of Mayfield, KY and Alice Holder of Mayfield, KY; one daughter-in-law, Martha Rickman of Mayfield, KY; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R. C. Rickman; her parents, Dewey and Farrah Carr Vaughan; three sons, R. C. Rickman, Jr., James Dewey Rickman and Vaughan Thomas Rickman; one daughter, Sarah Rickman Clapp; and four brothers, J. T. Vaughan, Gobel Vaughan, Harold Vaughan and Hayden Vaughan.
Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Sue Vaughan Rickman will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Sr. and Rev. Keith Allred will officiate. Interment will follow at Mayfield Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Richard Rickman, Jessica Rickman, Justin Rickman, David Dowdy, Austin Hargrove and Walter Lynn, Jr.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the funeral home.
