Christian Fellowship track and field athletes competed in the Class 1A Region 1 meet at Mayfield High School Thursday, May 18. The three athletes competing were Lillian Burnett, Ashton Robinson and Preston Nesshoefer.
Burnett placed first in discus with a throw of 100-02 and will advance to the KHSAA Class 1A State Track and Field Championships at the University of Kentucky on June 1. Robinson placed fourth in the 1600 meters with a time of 5:10.44 and ninth in the 800 meters in 2:19.79. Nesshoefer placed 16th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:39.82 and 18th in the 400 meters with 1:07.36.
