Mrs. Barbara Faye Brown, age 87, of Mayfield passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Murray Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY.
She was a member of McKendree Community Church and a retired employee of the State of Kentucky.
Mrs. Brown is survived by one son, Michael (Janet) Brown of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Debra (Johnny) Sears of Lowes, KY; two grandchildren, Leigh Ann Sears (Gene McLean) Thacker of Louisville, KY and Jamie Sears (Mark) Rawlings of Lowes, KY; and three great grandchildren, Will, Maggie, and Hank.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Brown and her parents, Forest and Helen Pritchard Smith.
Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Faye Brown will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Bro. Richard Dowdy will officiate. Interment will follow at McKendree Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the funeral home.
