One year ago today, a day that is never far from our minds. As I put my memorial band on my wrist this morning like I have every morning since Jody’s death, I struggled to think of how best to describe our feels about today. Will our words bring more pain to Jody’s family, or would our silence send a message that we don’t care.
There are no words that are adequate to express our grief for the loss of a truly great man, friend, and Officer. So as we remember Jody today, we ask that community lift up Jody’s family in prayer. Until we meet again brother.
