Extended Closure of KY 945/Meridian Rd in Graves County Starting Monday, May 15

Culvert replacement to take about 45 days to complete

PADUCAH, Ky. (May 10, 2023)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close a section of KY 945/Meridian Rd in Graves County starting Monday, May 15, 2023.

KY 945/Meridian Rd will be closed at mile point 1.3 to allow a culvert to be replaced.  This closure is along KY 945 between Gilbert Road and Hickory Road.

The roadway at this site is expected to close promptly at 8 a.m., CDT, on Monday.  KY 945 is expected to remain closed for about 45 days.

The Graves County Highway Maintenance Crew will remove an aging double concrete culvert to allow it to be replaced with a pre-fabricated aluminum culvert.

The target completion date is June 30, 2023.

KYTC District 1 will attempt to provide timely updates as the project progresses.
