Carrol Ken Mausey, age 63, of Paducah, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Ken was born in Marion, Illinois on June 13, 1959 to C.W. and Colleen Wharry Mausey. He was a Personal Consultant for S.I.P.C and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and a member of the Security Team. Ken had many hobbies over the years but he enjoyed bee keeping, ham radio, flying remote control airplanes and listening to classic rock. He also enjoyed spending time at the firing range and teaching firearm safety.
Ken is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sharon Brush Mausey; two daughters, Julie Tecklenburg (Alex) of Ingleside, Illinois, Sarah Pyron (Dylan) of Du Quoin, Illinois; one son, Sean Mausey (Jamie) of Marion, Illinois; one sister, Sandy Brainard (Mike) of Marion, Illinois; one brother, Gary Mausey (Lori) of Marion, Illinois; nine grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb, Jonah and Molly Tecklenburg, Ruby, Lincoln and River Pyron, Lily and Zoey Mausey.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, John Luke Pyron and Baby Tecklenburg and his mother.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church at 12:00 p.m. with Bro. Jason Medley and Bro. Ivan Ryan officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
