Kevin Moore, age 66, of West Paducah, Kentucky, completed his journey here on earth when God called him home at 4:18 P.M. Wednesday, May 3, 2023.
Kevin was born in Peoria, Illinois on Tuesday, February 12, 1957 to Marvin and Joyce Moore. He was a kind and gentle man with a heart of gold, who would help anyone who needed him. He loved racing, building old cars, riding motorcycles and working in the garden like his father did. He always kept busy with his hands and his callouses were proof of that. Kevin took pride in everything he did. He had a unique sense of humor and often shared it with his wife when she least expected it! Anyone who met him instantly knew he was a special person and they never forgot him. Kevin loved deeply but quietly, and was profoundly loved and cherished by his wife, his children, his family and friends. He will be forever missed by all.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Catherine Ann Wagner Moore; his sons, Michael Eugene Moore and Christopher Lee Moore, both of East Peoria, Illinois, and Brian Christopher Harris of Westminster, Colorado; his sister, Kay Hills of Winchester, Tennessee; his grandson, Braeden Zane Harris; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Eugene Moore and Joyce Ione Gonterman Moore; his grandson, Kevin Alan Harris.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 8, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Rev. Brian Nance officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 P.M. Monday, May 8, 2023 at the funeral home.
