UPDATE: I-24 Paducah Exit 3 Interchange Temporarily Returned to Normal Traffic Flow

Construction activity suspended until Monday, May 1

PADUCAH, Ky. (April 20, 2023) — Traffic in the Interstate 24 Paducah Exit 3 interchange has temporarily returned to normal traffic flow.  Both lanes of KY 305 are open through the interchange and normal turns are allowed at all ramps in the interchange until construction activity resumes on May 1, 2023.

Motorists should continue to use appropriate caution.

The I-24 Paducah Exit 3 Interchange is open to normal traffic flow to accommodate increased traffic during the AQS Quilt Show.  Motorists should be aware of some gravel connections at the ramp ends that will be in place today.  On Friday, A crew plans to place temporary asphalt pavement on the gravel areas.

Construction aimed at removing waffled asphalt pavement and replacing it with concrete along KY 305/Cairo Road in the I-24 Paducah Exit 3 Interchange will resume on Monday, May 1.

At this time, all lanes and ramp movements at I-24 Exit 3 have returned to normal with construction suspended until May 1.
