Crew working 4 a.m., to 6 a.m., Thursday
PADUCAH, Ky. (April 18, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a rolling work caravan along the westbound lanes of Interstate 24 in Marshall County during the early morning hours of Thursday, April 20, 2023.
Motorists should be alert for a slow-moving work caravan along I-24 westbound between the 29 and 26 mile marker on Thursday for pothole patching between approximately 4 a.m., and 6 a.m., CDT.
Motorists should be alert for a mobile work caravan made up of several trucks and support vehicles. Motorists should be prepared to encounter one-lane traffic with all traffic shifted to the left-hand or passing lane.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow. Delays should be minimal.
This pothole patching project is being scheduled in the early morning hours to minimize traffic disruptions.
