The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department is wanting to remind motorists that there is construction due to recent rainfall around the 11.5 mile marker west bound. Due to this construction traffic is being reduced to 1 lane around the 12 mile marker. The right lane is closed and the left lane is moving slow for safety in the construction zone. Please be mindful of this as you travel I-24 west bound. An alternate route may save you some time as we have already worked 2 collisions between the 12 mile marker and the 15 mile marker.
