Gerald Penrod, 62 of Dumor, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023 at his residence.
Gerald was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 9, 1960 to the late Jerald Penrod and Sandra Ford. He was a horse man all his life and worked as a Harness Racing trainer for over 40 years. Gerald loved being outdoors fishing and camping. He also enjoyed country music and classic rock. More than anything, Gerald loved his family. He was the fun uncle who enjoyed joking around with his nieces and nephews and will be missed by his entire family.
Gerald is survived by his brother, Jaymie (Shannon) Penrod of Kevil; a sister, Karen Broyles of Kevil; and several nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his significant other, Wanda Mallory; two brothers, Dwight and Paul Penrod; a niece, Amanda Broyles and a nephew, Devin Penrod; and his parents.
