Benton, KY (April 7, 2023) The Marshall County Parks Department will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Apr 11, 2023 at 4:00 PM at the playground at Mike Miller Park for Lee’s Little Library.
Lee’s Little Library is a new addition to the park provided by Evan and Bethany Lyles in memory of their son, Lee Lyles. Lee was born February 28, 2022 and passed away five weeks later on April 5, 2022. The Lyles family had looked forward to a lifetime of reading books with their son and have chosen to honor his life by providing books for other families to read together as they spend time playing at the park.
2022 Miss Kentucky, Hannah Edelen, will also be in attendance at the ribbon cutting ceremony with a donation of books for Lee’s Little Library.
