On March 30, 2023, at about 09:43pm a deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff Department conducted a traffic stop on Metropolis Lake Road. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 38-year-old William Droge of West Paducah. The passenger in the vehicle was 49-year-old Sherry Beasley also of West Paducah. During the investigation, K9 Vegas was deployed and alerted to presence of illegal narcotics inside the vehicle. A quantity of Methamphetamine was located inside the vehicle along with drug paraphernalia. Both Droge and Beasley were arrested and lodged in the McCracken Regional Jail. Droge was currently out of jail on bail for possession of Methamphetamine charges he received in January of this year.

3. Failure to Produce Insurance Card
4. Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 3rd or greater Offence (Methamphetamine)
5. Drug Paraphernalia
Beasley’s Charges:
1. Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offence (Methamphetamine)
2. Drug Paraphernalia
