Ruthie Burgess, 60, of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, formerly of Arlington, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the McNairy County Health Care Center in Selmer, Tennessee.
Mrs. Burgess was born in Clinton, Kentucky on December 24, 1962 to the late Rev. Verland Bill Burgess and Addie Beth Booker Burgess. She was of the Baptist faith. Ruthie enjoyed traveling with family and working puzzle books. Her favorite past time was playing solitaire cards everyday.
Naomi is survived by her sister, Anita Roach (Ronald) of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; two brothers, Stevie Burgess and Gene Burgess, both of Arlington, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Sandra Burgess; and one brother, William Burgess.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Rev. Kevin Riley officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service time on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
